Mola mola

The Ocean Sunfish (or Common Mola) is the heaviest known bony fish in the world. They reach sizes of up to 11 Ft (3 M) long and weigh 5,000 Lbs (2,100 Kg.) The largest specimens are known to reach 14 Ft (4 M.) They are found throughout temperate and tropical waters. Their diet consists of Krill, Squid, Jellyfish and Salps. They are preyed upon by many larger animals, such as Sharks, Sea Lions, and Orcas.
