UNICORNFISH

Avery D. Standard

Naso

Unicornfish belong to a genus of surgeonfish. Unicornfishes are found throughout the Indo-Pacific and most have very long, pointed extension on their heads, hence their name. Many inhabit tropical reefs in schools. These fish have oval shaped bodies and are laterally thin. They reach around 2 Ft (0.6 M) and vary greatly in color.
