The Jungle Nymph is a species of large stick insect found in Malaysia. The Jungle Nymph is one of the largest insects, measuring over 6 In (18 Cm) long. Males are a few inches smaller and are a pale brown. Females are bright green. They are armoured with hundreds of sharp spines covering their body. They hold the record for the largest egg laid by an insect, measuring a fifth of their body length.
