The Indian Giant Squirrel is a species of tree squirrel found in parts of India. It is a large species of squirrel, measuring about 2.5 Ft (0.6 M) long. The squirrel is known for its brightly colored coat.


The squirrel feeds on nuts and fruit that it finds among the tree branches. They nest in branches and tree hollows.
